As part of the E-governance initiative of NIC and
the Government of Assam, an web-enabled retrival of Record
of Right (Jamabandi) in Assamese is now made available to the public.
The site contains information of Kamrup district. More districts
will be covered in the next few months. The site was inaugurated by the
Chief Minister of Assam, Shri Tarun Gogoi on August 15, 2003 as part
of the Independence Day programme.
