1. Projects
   1. Web Page design initiated for Pension & Public Grievance Department.
   2. Web Page design initiated for Gauhati High Court.
   3. Software Requirement Specification (SRS) submitted for the Commercial Taxes Sector.
   4. DIC-MIS system porting to MS-Access started.
   5. Modules developed in VB6 & GistSDK for data-entry in Assamese for Web Page development for use at CICs.
2. Training
   1. VB6 and MS SQL7 (Jan 29-Feb 7)
   2. Web Page Design (Jan 29-Feb 3) (at Administrative Staff College)
   3. Application Development in Oracle 7.0 (Feb 19-23)
   4. Information System for Agricultural Marketing Boards in N. E. States - (Feb 26-Mar 2)
3. Other Activities
   1. Monitoring the activities of 15 CICs needed considerable time and effort. E-mail and 'Chat' services made on in most of the CICs during this month.
   2. Discussions initiated for properly setting up the Secretariat LAN.
   3. FTDMA VSAT installed at the State Unit.
   4. Window/NT & Linux Servers configured as Mail, Web and Database Servers.
